Just a reminder.....

Seller:

Please remember to inform your utility companies that they should do final readings and that they should be prepared to switch services from your name to the buyer's, on or around the closing date.

It is always a courtesy to go with a date, a few days after closing, to give the buyer plenty of time to transfer to his name.

Buyer:

Please remember to call the utility companies in plenty of time before closing, with your personal information, so that they will switch from seller's name to yours, instead of having to disconnect services to your new address.
